Die Theaterperformance „Sinus“ ist Versuch die Höhen und Tiefen eines jungen Lebens darzustellen. Junge Menschen lassen sich von elektronischer Musik führen, dessen Tempi und Rhythmus, Gemüt und Verstand bestimmen. Doch sind dies musikalischen Genres, des minimal-Techno und Elektro nicht die einzigen Wegweiser des Abends: Chorisch werden Texte live gesemplet, diese verschaffen dem Zuschauer einen situativen Fokus.

Die darstellenden Jugendlichen haben sich während der Probezeit durch einen Tunnel der Literatur der Beat-Generation und der Dunklen 1920ziger gegraben, um sie mit persönlichen Erfahrungen zu vergleichen. Dadurch ist ein Wirrwarr der Gefühle entstanden, in dem der Zuschauer nicht mehr weiﾟ, was Wahrheit und Fantasie ist. Doch wiedererkennen werden sie sich alle!

Liminal Air // Shinji Ohmaki

Shinji Ohmaki kommt 1971 in Gifu, Japan zur Welt. Heute lebt und arbeitet er in Tokio, Japan. “Liminal Air” ist eine Installation aus ca. 123.000 weißen Fäden in der Queensland Art Gallery. Jeder einzelne Faden ist unterschiedlich lang und hängt von der Decke herunter, so dass ein wolkenähnliches Gebilde entsteht, welches von den Besuchern durchquert werden kann.

1951 Vincent Rapide: Vintage V-Twin Velocity

When this Vincent Rapide was first released in 1946, it became the world’s fastest production motorcycle with a top speed of 110mph. While much of the old Rapide’s have fallen into disrepair, this 1951 Vincent Rapide was faithfully restored to near-original brilliance. 20 years of work went into this Rapide, and its beauty has now been documented by the autolust photography team of Guerry and Prat. Prat said of this motorcycle, “The only major tools of its owner are a drill and a vise, but patience and perfectionism have allowed him to achieve a high degree of excellence.” True indeed.

This rehabbed 1951 Vincent Rapide isn’t just a museum-worthy collectors item, it is a regular ride of its new owner. Should you own a motorcycle as beautiful as this one, could you keep yourself from riding it? We certainly couldn’t either… [guerry&prat via bikeexif and southsiders]
